Creating a Rockstar Portfolio with Development Artist and Instructor DOMINICK DOMINGO
COMPANY NAME : Director BRIAN MAINOLFI Description:
CALLING ALL ARTISTS!
Join Dominick Domingo for this portfolio CAREER CAMP day. ‘Creating a Rockstar Portfolio’ is a workshop designed to help artists showcase their work according to their own artistic voice, technical strengths and specific career goals. In addition to reviewing portfolios for Disney Feature in a variety of contexts, thereby viewing a cross-section of portfolios from art schools the world over, Dominick co-taught the Portfolio class in Art Center’s Entertainment Track for six years, helping to craft the portfolios that landed today’s ‘Rock Stars’ at many of the major studios. Drawing on this experience, Dominick will lecture on the ‘dos’ and ‘donts’ of designing an effective portfolio while giving portfolios critiques of select artists in a group setting. If you would like an opportunity to be selected then, this is for you.
3 portfolios will be selected from those submitted for a public review during this live workshop. Anyone can attend the workshop without submitting a portfolio. You don’t have to submit or be selected to attend the workshop. NOT everyone will have their portfolio selected to be reviewed but everyone will learn.
Workshop date: Tuesday November 17th 11:00am - 12:00pm PDT
If you miss the workshop it will be recorded and rerun on youtube.
