Need help with your primetime storyboard portfolio piece? Wondering how you fared on a storyboard test? As a special event at CTN-LIVE 2020, director Brian Mainolfi will review and give feedback on storyboards submitted by YOU. This is a great opportunity to get feedback from a professional.
Brian will be providing draw-overs and story advice based on submitted storyboard panels from anyone wishing to break into primetime television animation. Submissions will remain anonymous, but a selection will be analyzed and given notes LIVE. To apply, simply submit a PDF or reel of 10-30 panels from your storyboard portfolio or test. Not all submissions will be chosen, but it will be an informative session delving into the necessary requirements for becoming a Hollywood primetime storyboard artist."

BRIAN MAINOLFI has been working in Hollywood for 28 years, for nearly every studio in town. He started as assistant to legendary director Chuck Jones, and has worked at Walt Disney, Dreamworks, and Universal Feature Animation on such films as Pocahontas, Mulan, Tarzan, Sinbad, and Curious George. In television, Brian has worked on a dozen shows including, The Simpsons, Dan Vs., The Boondocks, and American Dad. HOW TO GET INVOLVED: If you don't already have an account on CTN Recruiting, register as 'Creative Talent' here. Then APPLY for your storyboard to be reviewed by animation veteran Brian Mainolfi. Submit 1-2 of your animation storyboards that best represent your current abilities, and what you want help with. Submissions can be in PDF or Reel format. The choice is yours!
Submission Opens October 23rd, 2020, 12 AM PST.
Submission Closes November 22nd, 2020, 12 AM PST.
